A few things we did this summer

 Black forest cake for my birthday. Yummm...

Camping with friends in the States. it rained on the way in but was otherwise lovely. I am not a camper but it is definitely a must do with kids.

Hopefully we will fit a few more fun things in before school starts.

A quick trip to the good ol' U.S of A.

It is Princess Sara Day again this year and the heavens are threatening to celebrate with great luster. Booms, crashes, flashes and liquid confetti. Could I be more blessed! :)

My son, all on his own decided to do a photo shoot of his sister. He chose her outfit, hair, props, location and poses. His sister was  an excellent and patient model. Here are a few of his shots followed by a few of mine.

First we had my sons. Just a few friends to the movies again this year.

Next my daughter had a "fishing" party. My Muse took pictures but I haven't seen them yet.

That very evening we had the cousins over to celebrate all the spring summer kids (5 out of 6 of them).

on the kids actual birthday we celebrated with just our little family including dinner at Montana's Cookhouse.

9 and 5

Today my beautiful babies (well not so much babies anymore) turned 9 and 5 years old. WOW!!   Happiest Birthday my Bug and Billi !!

We didn't do much for Canada day, too busy visiting Nana. So for the 4th my little family and my folks went down to Peace Portal to watch the U.S. display. Quite a show! and a full moon to boot.
