Between raindrops I took the kids to the creek-bed down the end of our street. It's dry now but in short order it will be flowing(it's a spawning creek).
During our exploration we came across an unusual....worm?....caterpillar?....land leach?
I really don't know . It's about 2 1/2 inches long, silver gray, hairy (almost furry-not quite) and narrower on
one end.
Kindof gross.

The rain has started, school is right around the
corner ( I am not ready ),
and my husband comes home tonight.
It's back to schedules, homework, indoor games long sleeves.
I'm sure we will fit in some fantastic weekends and evenings but there is nothing quite like summer.
