O.K. so we went to 2 birthdays on the same day. First it was off to Abbotsford for a lovely little girl turning one. I made her a little purple sleepy cat (pictured in an earlier post.). It was a fabulously fun halloweenish themed to-do. Great candy spread, activity stations and kids movie. The birthday girl was adorable as usual and her mommy was a terrific hostess.
Afterwards we headed back to Langley to Flip City for another party. This one for a classmate of my sons'.
He got a bit overemotional from all the sugar he had at the first party but otherwise a great time.
My husband started getting ill but after missing a week of work (from no work available) he insisted on going to work. By the time I got him to go to a clinic he had walking pneumonia. He is still insisting on working all the time. He is there now-on Saturday.
My son had a neighbor and classmate over to play. They had a blast pretending to be old men, mushroom hunting and killing and we carved some small pumpkins.
I have been fighting falling into a bit of a depression so I forced myself to stand up and get out.
My daughter and I went into Abbotsford to meet a friend and her son and go for a walk. It was so beautiful warm wind, vibrant colours, and great company. The kids get on so well, in fact mine cried herself to sleep on the ride home missing her friend.
Why is it water is so fascinating?
The deck of the dock was real slippery and my little one almost slid into the pond.
Tonight we go trick-or-treating!
