10 to life

Husband is home now, None the worse for ware.
He came home in time for us to celebrate our anniversary. It has been 10 years, some long, some short, I guess it averages out. We don't do a lot of fan fare. Our courtship just sort of "happened", we met when we were 21 and just kind of casually started hanging around each other more and more till we had to admit we were in a relationship (well me really- I think he was well aware). Then after nearly 5 years we thought "marriage!?". We got engaged via smarties box outside a McDonald's Express.So we did a 3 month engagement, wedding in my parents back yard, small simple. We made our own decorations and pinyata, I wore an off the rack grad gown, we hired a magician and relied on friends and family for photos. Simple honeymoon in Oregon and on with it.       Our birthdays, anniversaries, etc... have all been the same. No big planning, grand gestures, gifts or cards, just maybe dinner and a movie. Sometimes I feel I'm missing out but it's kinda who we are.
This year we saw Iron Man 2. It was good, I'm a sucker for comic book movies.
He's still my favorite.
