arts alive

This morning the kids and I checked out the annual Arts Alive Festival downtown Langley. There are so many wonderfully talented people around here, I was almost overwhelmed. The kids enjoyed a great many free activities, and the weather was practically perfect.

 Later in the evening while my brother in law was out filming the zombie walk for his show, my older sister and I took our cameras to a local cemetery to practice and play with light and shadow. I think maybe I got one or two shots I could use in further art projects.

 And right now my guys are camping in the back yard. it is lovely quiet in here. :)
