My Mothers Day Weekend

On Friday D had the day off school. So even though the weather was drizzly my mom and my sisters dog joined us on a walk through the woods to the field.
Then we went to a local nursery so D could pick out his very own Venus Flytrap plant.

On Saturday my little family went to Chinatown. We all have such fond memories of the place and were saddened to see the so many shops closed or closing and just the general lack of upkeep on the whole area.
however Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Gardens were the same, very nice.

 On Sunday we spent the day in the yard, visiting the neighbors horse, chopping wood, and playing with the dog. My younger sister came over for a delicious brunch. My older sister and her husband are away diving so their dog has been spending a lot of time with us.
