School day at the beach

My sons school spent the day at a local beach checking out the tide pools and seeing first hand some of the stuff they've been learning this past month. I got to go along. Yay!
The sun came out and stayed for the whole morning.
We saw so much...Jelly fish, star fish, fish fish, sand dollars, sand fleas, all kinds of crabs and other shelled creatures. But what my boy (and several others) got supper excited about was the very common, abundant, seaweed and sea lettuce. Go figure.
