well school ended. My sons class had a real nice class party at one of his classmates home where they had a fantastic tree house.
My Dad decided to actually retire (kind-of, in stages)
For Canada Day myself, the kids, my older sis and Mom checked out one of the local fairs. We got to see Charlotte Diamond and the kids went on a few rides before rain took over.
One of my cousins got married. It was beautiful ( and very musical-they are both in the business).
I don't know what happened to those pictures.
The rain stopped, sun came out and my kids got another year older :)
Instead of a big combined party this year I let D have some school friends over. My older sister took some fabulous photos and my younger sis did some face-painting.
We played a game of find and build the robot but the kids had a hard time finding the very obvious pieces (2 are still out there somewhere) it ended in a tie.
We played a water balloon game to break the tie , which lead to a free for all balloon war, which led to water on the trampoline(sorry parents!).
There were a lot of smiles so I will count it as a success.
After that party was done we had family come over to combine my kids and their littlest cousins birthdays.
Great big family fun. My little sis stayed a few days to hang out and do experiments with the kids.
My little girl had her own little party a couple days later, I forgot the camera. However I did sell some of my paintings.
And a few days ago a family friend who now lives in Tenesia came over for a visit with her little one.
It's been a busy start to summer.
