My little family went to one of my lovely friends youngest sons 1st birthday. I had worked with both her and her husband (and sister-in-law).
They hosted a very nice BBQ-first and only one we've gone to this summer-!
It was hot and loud but such lovely people, good food and a good celebration. Also I found out she is expecting her 3rd! I am quite excited about that. It was a surprise for her, not what she had been planning for, turns out she fell into the .03% that wasn't effected by her birth control. They are great parents it will all come together for them.
So on the way home out of the blue my son says" I wish I was rich so then I wouldn't have to dance infront of people."
my husband and I(a little taken aback)"WHAT!?!"
son"so I wouldn't have to dance for money."
us"Where and when are you dancing for money?Why??"
son"I want more money to buy stuff."
So turns out one of the reasons he has been trying so hard for me to find a day his cousins can come over is because he has planned out a dance production that he plans on charging his audience 3$ to watch and splitting his proceeds with his eldest cousin. Turns out the gazillion Lego bits throughout the house are no longer enough now that he has discovered he likes the City Lego and his allowance is insufficient. *sigh*
HAHAHA! well, it's a good thing it's just a dance production with his cousin and not some other type of future 'dance for money' idea! Pretty smart of him to think of ways to make money though. Got to give him credit! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize what the percentage was, but I also fall into the .03% that got pregnant on birth control, so is my Mom. :) Interesting!
